Wendov1.0 · iOS & Android
English

Your coding agents keep working when you step away from your desk.

Wendo is an SSH client for iOS and Android. When Claude Code needs permission, it lands in your inbox and you approve it right there; if you want to see what it is doing, you open its tmux pane.

No accounts, no servers of ours: the app talks to your computer over SSH, with your key. Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

Install

curl -fsSL https://wendo.lirafy.dev/install.sh | sh

On macOS and Linux (on Windows, inside WSL). It installs jq and qrencode if they are missing, adds the hook to Claude Code after backing up your settings, and shows a QR code to pair your phone. Safe to run again. Everything it does.

Questions

What do I need on my computer?

An SSH server (on a Mac, System Settings › General › Sharing › Remote Login) and, for notifications, the Wendo hook. The install command checks both and shows you the QR code to pair.

Does it work with Codex, Gemini CLI or other agents?

Yes, like any terminal: you start them, follow them in tmux and type to them from your phone. Inbox notifications and approvals currently work with Claude Code only.

Does my code go through your servers?

No. The app connects straight to your computer over SSH, with your key, and reads notifications over that same connection. There is no account and no server of ours in between. For notifications with the app closed you can use ntfy, including a self-hosted server.

Can I use it away from home?

Yes, as long as your computer is reachable over SSH from where you are, for example through a VPN or a jump host. With Mosh, the session also survives switching from Wi-Fi to cellular.

Does it work with Windows?

Yes, inside WSL. The installer runs on macOS, Linux and WSL.

How much does it cost?

Wendo is free, with a few limits: 2 saved connections, 3 custom shortcuts and 5 trial approvals. Wendo Pro removes them and adds Mosh, tmux, diff, preview and attachments, as a subscription or a one-time purchase.
