Diff and files
Wendo shows you the changes in the project the agent is working on without leaving the terminal. It reads them over the same SSH connection, running git on your computer.
Where to find it
- Diff: the button with the branch icon in the key bar. If you don't have it, add it in Settings › Toolbar.
- Files: in the terminal menu.
What Diff shows
- The current branch.
- Staged (
git diff --cached) and unstaged (git diff) changes, file by file, with the added and removed lines. - Untracked files.
Each file and each hunk can be collapsed. You can refresh manually or let it refresh every 5 seconds.
Which folder
If the terminal is in tmux, Wendo uses the pane's current folder (pane_current_path). Otherwise, your home folder. If that folder isn't a repository, you'll see “Not a git repository”.
Files
It browses the server's folders starting at your home folder. Tapping a file downloads it and opens your phone's share menu.
Requirements and limits
gitinstalled on your computer.- The session has to be connected. If it has dropped, the app asks you to reconnect.
